Writing Update: August 2026

Greetings,

Apologies for not updating in a while.  In addition to wearing many hats – web designer, author, artist, video creator – I also struggle with severe chronic pain, neuropathy, and other conditions, most exacerbated by the years of narcissistic and legal abuse I suffered.  In working on my latest writing project, a non-fiction account of this experience, I finished transcribing my hand-written journal of that time, and had to take a break.  The emotional drain of having to recall those events is always an invitation for anxiety, depression, and PTSD, all of which were made worse over the course of the last fifteen years, and I needed to take some time for my mental health.

This is never a simple thing, as my very security is constantly in danger from such things as having my disability – my only income at this point – garnished by my ex, who most know has weaponized the law in order to cause as much financial and emotional damage as possible, a process that is condoned and indeed incentivised by the corrupt shit-show known as the family court system.   Fortunately, I have managed not to become part of the statistics – 21 men a week commit suicide in this country due to this very thing.  Just recently, my ex confirmed that she did not have a miscarriage (the story she used to induce a pity response and thus set the stage for a second attempt at separating me from my child), but had instead decided to screw a loser who worked in the auto parts store next to where she worked when we lived in North Carolina, and had an abortion.  Just another fun day of dealing with someone who at least one psychiatrist deems a psychopath.

Fun stuff, right?

This is pretty much par for the course these days.  Hopefully, things will improve with time.

In the meantime, I am aware there are still some issues with the website.  I will be working whenever I can to clean these up, and hope you will stick around to see the future changes.

Writing News – June 2026

So, the website is done…kind of.  Apparently, the galleries are not showing up on small devices (phones).  I have been out of the web design game for a couple years, and although I have a fairly good working knowledge of graphics, html, and css, the whole responsive design thing is another thing altogether, at least for me.  To be honest, I think the whole mobile device thing has done nothing positive for the world in general, for too many reasons to list in a blog post, but it doesn’t change the fact I’ll have to buckle down and fix the galleries.  This is not a particularly difficult problem, or would not be if I did not have to wear so many hats in regard to my creative career, but I do, and there are only so many hours in a day.

On the positive side, I am back to writing, working on both a non-fiction work, as well as a screenplay treatment of my third novel, “Permutations of Reality”.  I also have begun preliminary work on my next fiction work, which, like my memoir of years of domestic and legal abuse, will be sure to rankle some hides.  If I do it right, that is.  I also plan on putting out more videos on my Youtube channel, the Write Side, in the near future, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, be sure to do so.  I don’t mince words on my channel, so if you like unfiltered commentary, be sure to come and check it out.

…Aaannnd…We’re Back

Greetings all,

It’s been a while since the website has been active, and for an author, this can be quite a stressful time.  It took time to find a reliable web host after the debacle with my former host, and even then, I ran into problems importing the blog database from the old site.  Forcing me to redesign the site did have it’s advantages, however.  The old site was quite a bit larger, and though it had a lot of information, I felt it was a bit much for the casual viewer.  I removed all the sub-menus, and condensed the site down to its core pages.  I like the new design overall, and I hope my visitors will as well.  I will continue to tweak things if I feel the need, and add to the galleries and blog pages, but the site is finally functional once again.

I’ll be posting as often as possible going forward.  I have several writing projects in development, as well as my YouTube channel, and will post news on these going forward.  As a quick reminder, my current works are available on my catalog page.  I appreciate any and all fans of my work, so bookmark the site, and follow me on social media to keep with all the latest developments.
